We had our friends Greg, Sara and Briggs over yesterday. Briggs is 3 months younger than Braylon, but you wouldn't know it at first glance. Braylon was excited to see his little friend and was particularly interested in his hair. It was fun to catch up and let the boys enjoy one another.

As promised, here are a few pics of Braylon sporting his Hollywood tee from Uncle Brooks.

7 months

So, the seven month mark came and went without much celebration. Unfortunately, we've been dealing with our third ear infection since January and needless to say, there's not been much to cheer about in the Ramsay household. Forcing meds and getting little sleep is no fun for anyone. Actually, Braylon has been doing remarkably well. He's just as cheery as ever, except overnight. He's also symptom free except for the bothersome pressure of the fluid which I think increases when he's laying down; hence, the difficultly with sleep. Although the past few weeks have been rough, a lot of exciting things have happened in the past month. Braylon has two new teeth and is beginning to scoot...backwards! He's also beginning to eat big boy food better. He's particularly fond of sweet potatoes and applesauce.

Last week, Bryan went to LA and came back with some gifts for Braylon. We'll post pics of Braylon in his new Hollywood tees soon. While he was gone, Bryan sent Braylon and I a Valentine surprise which resulted in a front page pictorial.
Grammy Tedder, Aunt Micha and Devin visited last weekend. It was great to see them as we hadn't since Christmas. We're looking forward to a visit from Grandma Jean sometime in March. We're also looking forward to all the new and exciting changes the next month will bring. I'm sure we'll have some action shots to share on our 8 month blog. Until then, we'll keep you posted on all of Braylon's adventures.

And Then There Were Two!

That's right, Braylon has two new teeth! You may be able to see them poking through on his lower gum in the picture above. We noticed the first one coming in over the weekend and Bryan spotted the second pushing through today. Considering the new teeth and an ear infection, the little man is doing quite well. We opted for an injection of antiobiotics with this ear infection which seems to have helped a lot. Now, we're just dealing with the sniffles and a raspy cough. I stayed home with Braylon yesterday and we enjoyed the 70 degree weather. I busted out the sunscreen and hat and we took in the sunshine! Bryan is off to L.A. tomorrow! We will miss him, but plan to chat via webcam while he's away for a long weekend. We hope he brings back some more sunny weather! That's all for now...

My Friends

We've had quite the time meeting and playing with new friends. Last weekend, we had friends over and Braylon was able to play with Tristan and Riley for a few hours in the new play room. Riley was very interested in her little friend and Braylon was not quite sure he wanted all the attention. Here's Riley going in for a little kiss, while Braylon protests!
Mommy and Daddy worked hard to get the play room set up just in time for our guests. I found some great deals on toys and the new "ABC" tile which pulls the room together quite nicely. Braylon loves his new play room and all the new things to explore! This weekend, Braylon and I were invited to a play date with a group of boys ranging from 14 mos to 6 1/2 months. Brady, he's in brown on your left, is 9 months. Caden, in the back in the Nike shirt, is 14 mos. Camdyn, in the green and blue, is 8 mos and Brecken, with the colorful block is one week older than Braylon. Caden, Brady, and Camdyn are all very mobile. Below, Braylon and Brecken watch Camdyn as he shows off his crawling abilities... Braylon and Brecken both look totally stunned!! They are in awe of his speed and mobility!! We had a great time with the other boys and their parents! We plan to make this a regular play date and will even join in on some fun at an upcoming Aqua Mom and Me swimming class. We will not, however, be sharing photos from those play dates! Mommy isn't quite ready for a swimming suit :)
