Braylon was laughing so hard at the cat as he looked at her through the window. He never gets this close to her and he was enjoying it. It's kind of long, but worth it to hear those giggles!
Bryan took this video of Braylon from the other side of the door in order to capture this squishy face! Aunt Jodi is probably really grossed out by us allowing our son to smash his face against the dirty window, but we couldn't resist!

You Are My Sunshine
What more can I say...here are my two favorite people and truly the sunshine in my life! We've enjoyed some great sunny weather the past week. We spend a lot of time in our back yard or strolling in the neighborhood. Braylon does not like the process of slathering on sunscreen and putting on his hat before we go out, but once he's outside and playing he has the best time!
He got a new toy to push around and ride on. Here he is giving his seal of approval. I think he likes it!
You can't tell from Braylon's energy level , but we've all been dealing with a cold the past week and Braylon has another ear infection. It hasn't really slowed him down, although his nights have been pretty rough! We are pushing another 10-day round of antibiotics and will schedule to visit the ENT specialist again soon. We really hope to get this little guy some relief soon.

Skills
Here are a few videos of Braylon displaying his new skills. This first one shows him pulling up to stand
Here he is standing to play with his toy. He's starting to push this around and tries to walk behind it.
This last one got me into some trouble for letting him play in the water. Now it's all he wants to do!!

9 months
So much has happened in the past month. Braylon has gotten two new teeth, is scooting wildly all over the house and he's learned to pull himself up to stand. It's amazing how much he's accomplished in the past nine months! Bryan and I are amazed at how the time has flown by, but we cannot remember not having him in our lives. Braylon is such a great baby. He's always happy and has a smile that will melt your heart! His personality is really starting to emerge and we've concluded that he has his father's patience and my grumpiness when he doesn't get enough sleep!
Braylon has been on many adventures this month as well. He's experienced his first dip in the big pool. He attended his first basketball game at Allen Field House and witnessed the amazing Marching Cobras. We took him to his first game at Memorial Stadium for the KU Football Spring game and then he enjoyed his first trip to the park with his friends, Riley and Tristan. In the upcoming month, we hope to expose our little guy to the joys of golf. Who knows, by then he may even be able to hit a ball or two! He really loves to be outdoors and it seems that he and the dogs are planning an escape.
I cannot express how lucky and blessed we feel to have this wonderful little boy. He never ceases to amaze us and he brings an immense sense of pride to our lives.

Park Play
We took Braylon to the park today and snapped a few pics of his experience. Here he is going down the big slide with Daddy!
Next, he tried the little slide with a little help! He laughed and kicked all the way down.
Finally, he really enjoyed swinging with Mommy. He even sat in the baby swing all by himself and loved it! Hopefully, I can upload video of that soon.

Fun Filled Saturday
Braylon enjoyed some time with Mommy on Saturday. We started our day off at the Indoor Aquatic Center for the Aqua Mom and Me class. Braylon loves the water and really gets to kicking and splashing while Mom gets a good workout. There are between 12-15 moms and babes enrolled in our class and so far, there is only one baby girl! The other thing I've noted is that there are a number of boys whose names start with the letter "B". There is Brecken, Brady, Braylon, Benjamin, and another Brady. Although we are indoors, our classes have been affected by nasty weather. For our first class, we fought the rain, sleet and cold and this week, our class was cancelled after 10 minutes because of lightning. We're hoping for nice weather next week.
Then, after some lunch and a quick nap, we got our crimson and blue on and attended the Lady Hawks' WNIT championship game at Allen Field House. The place was packed and to top it off, the Marching Cobras put on a great show at half time.
We caught another quick nap and then I headed out for a massage, while Braylon enjoyed some time with Aunt Amber, Uncle Chad and Mocha. We ended the day with a bath and some of Braylon's favorite books. It was a great day!
