Are You Ready for Some Football??
Braylon, Daddy and Mommy are gearing up for some K-State football! Braylon sported his new jersey today to get us all in the spirit. Braylon and I will miss the first game, but Bryan will represent the Ramsay clan. We're excited for another Snyder-led K-State football season and hope to make a few games this year.

Bad Day
Braylon had a rough couple of days last week after battling a double ear infection and a virus. These particular photos were taken in the evening after only one nap during the day. The pictures say it all, but he had a pretty rough day that day. All in all, he was a champ as always and kicked that virus in no time!
Thankfully, we are on top of this virus and ear infections and he's feeling much better. He's had a really good weekend!

Colorado
We made the 10 hour trip to Breckenridge, Co last week and spent a few days with Bryan's family. The weather was nice, a bit rainy, but much cooler than home. We enjoyed the river walk and Braylon loved watching all the kiddos playing in the water. We stayed a few blocks from downtown Breck, so we enjoyed afternoon walks to Main Street and visiting the little shops, all the while taking in the fresh mountain air. Braylon battled an ear infection the last few days, so was a bit out of it, but he was a trooper and hung in there. He did amazingly well on the drive home too (better than Mommy)!

Mowin' the Lawn
With the beautiful weather we had last week, we spent a lot of time outdoors. Braylon is enjoying his new toys and on this particular day, we decided to let him take his bubble mower for a spin, minus the bubbles. Kelly was right, the bubbles don't really work and they do cause quite a mess indoors :)
I don't know what it is about these "head shots", but I just love to capture Braylon from the back. In this one, you can really see how much Braylon's hair has grown. Plus you can really see those Cook ears. Thanks Great Grandpa Cook!

Take Me To The Zoo
We took Braylon to the Topeka Zoo on Saturday and he seemed to enjoy all the animals. He got an up-close look at this lioness. She didn't seem to mind the visitors.
As we stopped by each exhibit, he would point at the different animals and either roar or say "da" which we think means "that".
We walked through the tropical rain forest and spotted lots of pretty birds, a few mice, a three toed sloth and bats! The bats kind of freaked me out hanging there with their fangs poking out and fanning themselves with their wings.
By far, the giraffe was his favorite. We're not sure if it's because they were our first stop or if he truly liked them best.
We couldn't have asked for a better day. The weather was great and it only took us an hour and a half to walk through the entire zoo. Perfect for a little guy with a short attention span!
