Wow! What a first week we had! We were discharged from the hospital on Monday afternoon and things didn't settle down until the following Monday :) First, Macyn took some time to get a little something for her big brother to make up for the changes her arrival will bring to his world. Braylon instantly loved his elephant, but had some difficulty warming up to his little sister on her first day home.
My mom, Grammy Jo, spent a few days with us before leaving on Wednesday.
By the third day, Braylon was beginning to show more interest in Macyn and even took some time to hold her. He seemed very pleased to snuggle with her, giving her lots of hugs and kisses!
On Thursday, we dressed the kids in their K-State gear as we cheered on the Cats!
Grandma Jean, Bryan's mom was available the remainder of the week to help us out. Thankfully, we had a few nice days and were able to spend some time outdoors blowing bubbles and shooting hoops!
Finally, my sister and nephew visited over the weekend and I'm very sad to say that I failed to capture any pics of their visit.
I'll leave you with a pic of Macyn with her eyes open. This is a rarity as this little girl sleeps all the time! I look forward to the upcoming week as we get back into our routine. Thanks to everyone that visited us and helped us out during our first week home!
So rather than spend another $30 to get Braylon's hair cut, Bryan decided to do the deed himself. He did an excellent job except for the fact that he cut off ALL of Braylon's curls!! I certainly hope they grow back; otherwise, I'll be giving Bryan his next hair cut :) There's a mob of Braylon's teachers that have vowed to come after Bryan should the curls not return. Stay tuned...

Braylon welcomed his new baby sister, Macyn Elizabeth Ramsay on March 14, 2010. Macyn made her debut weighing 8lbs 7oz and measuring 21 inches. We are all doing well and expect to go home today. More pics and updates to come!
In honor of March Madness, Braylon's school invited Baby Jay to the center to visit the kiddos. Braylon was scared at first, but seemed to warm up to the big bird after a while. Being the good sports that we are, we dressed Braylon appropriately for the occasion. He, of course, wore his K-State jersey :) In retaliation, the girls at school gave him a Jayhawk tattoo. 
We've really enjoyed the warmer weather the past few days. On Saturday, Bryan, Braylon and I spent the day together and started off with a visit to the park for some hoops and swinging. 
After nap, we ventured over to Wonderscope where the boys spent the majority of the time in the ball room. Bryan seemed to have just as much fun as Braylon! It was great to spend the day with both of the Ramsay men :)
